How to find us?

Goombaragin Eco Retreat is approximately 160kms north of Broome on the Dampier Peninsula in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.  We are situated on the west side of the Dampier Peninsula at the southern end of Pender Bay.  The trip will take you just over 2 hours.  A 4WD is strongly recommended.

As you head out of Broome:

  • Turn left onto the Cape Leveque Road and be set for an exciting journey.
  • You will come to the Beagle Bay Community turnoff sign (approx 127kms).  Unless you want to visit the beautifully built church of pearls, continue on your drive.
  • 16kms further turn left onto the Middle Lagoon Road. You will see Goombaragin Eco Retreat’s directional signs.
  • You will come to a crossroad.
  • Turn right at the crossroad and Goombaragin is second left.

Goombaragin Eco Retreat has directional signage at all intersections (blue and white).
